Nikon "Monarch" 8x42 ATB binocs
The new Nikon 10x42 "Monarch" ATB™ binoculars feature an advanced new roof prism optical design. It incorporates Nikon’s exclusive Eco-Glass (made without the use of arsenic or lead) for all lens and prism elements. Prisms feature phase-correction coatings and high reflection mirror coatings for superior sharpness and resolution, and all lenses and are fully coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds for maximum light transmission. The result is much improved low-light brightness, edge-to-edge sharpness, and definition. Excellent for birders, their close focus distance is only 8.2 feet.
Wide angle, with large 42mm objectives, they deliver superior optical performance in very low light situations and in all challenging environments. Armored with heavy gauge rubber, they are waterproof/fogproof, nitrogen-filled, and o-ring sealed. Twist-up eyecups adjust for eyeglass wearers. Neckstrap, case and lens cloth included.
